Senior Pastor Rick Painter came to Argyle in January, 1994. He first led our Youth and Music, and was instrumental in bringing KidStuf to Argyle. He was an important part of the planning process that designed and built our main structure, Building A, and has influenced many of the technical aspects of our ministry.

The Argyle Outdoor Singing Christmas Tree is his vision and design. It has brought the Good News about Jesus to our commuity since the very first year Rick was at Argyle, and we just completed our 30th annual presentation.

Most importantly, was was a friend and collaborator in Pastor Ken Dyal's vision of Argyle being a Christ-centered place where people of every race and background could worship together and make a difference in our community. When we lost Pastor Ken in 2010 and called Rick to be our Senior Pastor, there was no change in direction or vision. Argyle today has Ricks fingerprints all over it.

Sunday, January 26 is the anniversary. Our worship gathering that morning will feature special guests and speakers, and after worship we will have lunch and more celebration in the Family Life Center.
